Walks in North Scotland
Widely known for its remote mountainous landscapes of the Northwest Highlands and the Grampians, the latter contains the Cairngorms National Park and is host to the highest mountain in the British Isles, Ben Nevis. This region also contains vast areas of ancient woodland and immense lochs; the most famous being loch Ness and loch Lomond, this one being the main attraction of the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park.
