Walks in South Scotland
The Southern Upland Hills lie within this region, a chain of rolling hills which stretch along the Scotland/England border to Galloway Forest Park; this area contains vast areas of peaceful wide open spaces. Sitting north of these hills in the central belt, the most populous area of Scotland, is the historic City of Edinburgh, the Scottish Capital. Other highlights of this region are the Pentland Hills, Ochil Hills, Lomond Hills, the Fife coast and East Stewartry coast NSA.
